I find it amazing that there are no retail mags available in Aus for Tenpin Bowling, yet when I was last in the newsagency I counted 4 magazines dedicated to knives !! If knife mags are potentially more popular than a good Tenpin publication then we live in a real sick world !!!....

they should add more into the AMF Magazine 'whats the score'
maybe broaden it to national/int. news and news about equipment and so forth...

A fair few of the articles from "Bowling Digest" certainly used to be published online, although I think that has lapsed in recent times. If u type Bowling Digest into Google or some such search engine, you should be able to find some back-dated articles.

Luckily you found the knive magazines.
I'm a newsagent and former bowler. I can not get my hands on any tenpin mags. I have a catalogue thats lists several thousand mags I can get from the distributors and there are no tenpin mags.
However instead of the knive mags , how about a nice cross stich mag to settle your nerves while bowling or maybe one on beadwork !!

I found a copy of an old Australian Bowling magazine from the 80's called Down The Lanes, it was like a mini newspaper.
It was May/June 1983 edition and had a American Dave Davis on the front after his winning the Melbourne Cup over John Sullivan - interesting read.
Some very big scores shot there.

I think Pin Action was running as well in conjunction with Down The Lanes at the times.

i used to get one called Bowling Digest (American). Dont know if its around anymore though, its that long since i last got one.
