Bowling League without shoes

Does anyone know if ther are any rules stating that you must wear shoes to bowl.
I have looked through the TBA rule book online and can not find anything on this...

Why would you want to bowl without shoes? The approach would be mighty slippery in just a pair of socks!

I believe you'd be breaching the Bowling Centres Health and Safety Regulations. Also, 'wearing shoes' is not a rule of the game; along with wearing any clothes at all..............

This is probably the reason there's no information in the TBA rule book.

Are you specifically asking if you must wear bowling shoes or if you can wear normal shoes?

I used to bowl in bare feet till I was about 10 lol

Thanks all for your input, I had a bowler in league this week,bowled the last game without shoes, and as I could find nothing in the rule book, I was unsure if the bowlers game score stood.....
