Well done Brenton And Jeanette on tough conditions for all.

Many thanks to Animals Pro shop and Hammer for their sponsorship, Karen is happy for some shopping money.

Thanks to Mary and her team at Aspley, good work.

As I was not there, I am interested your comment about tough conditions when Brenton's average was the highest of all events this year!

I was thinking the same thing, 32 people over the card, surely wasn't too hard.........Mind you it was all down hill for you Bob after the first game......he!...he!...:)....Well Done!

Steve,

I think what Bob is referring to is Aspley had a major problem with their kegel and, as a result, the condition was somewhat drier than intended and tended to break down quicker than expected. It was kind of a matter of making hay while the sun shone (or the oil lasted), especially for the right handers. I even ended up shooting deep inside (well, inside 3rd arrow is deep for me) towards the end of the matchplay.

Having said all that, I would like to thank Mary and "The Team" for another expertly run tournament and the staff, all the sponsors who made the event possible and management at Aspley for hosting the event. Despite the kegel issue, I think all competitors had a great time and will be back next year. Congrats also to Jeanette for her win

Congratulations to Mary and "Team" and to Aspley Bowl for a great tournament. The only problem was the kegel machine which broke down and delayed the start of the tournament. This tournament is very efficiently run with everyone bowling to achieve their best results, hopefully to reach the match play. This senior tournament is the only one that has match play and it is exciting to watch as well as participating. As it was my first match play, I was thrilled to be there even though the lanes were extremely dry.

Congratulations to Jeanette and Brenton (Chucky) for their wins.

Again, thank you to Mary and the team for once again running a very efficient tournament. Everyone had a great time and will definitely be back next year, hopefully with a "fully fit" kegel machine.

Annie
