i am not aligned to any ball manufacturers

but i believe at the moment there is what i call a "special" currently on the market

for anyone wanting a big ball

try the STORM TRAUMA

I use Columbia 300 and Track bowling balls at the moment.

I don't have any real preference in which ball manufacturer to use as I haven't had the opportunity to experiment with other ball manufacturers except for the one's I stated earlier.

However, I guess it just comes down to whatever your comfortable using and then stick with it. If you get a sponsor, that's even better.

At the moment, pretty much anything with holes in it

277 and 3/731 (Pulse and Tidal Wave)

289 (Tidal Wave)

3/715 (Triton Heat)

just shows how good all brands are i guess

well iwould have to say columbia 300 would be the company of choice.
The rock star is one ofthe best balls i have ever had so no complains from me.....

altho track would have to come 2nd i think

cheers

As people know I throw TRACK exclusively. I have used it for over 3 years now with success, especially some of their latest balls like the Black Gold STOMP and the Pearl Heat 2. I know at the moment some of these balls are hard to come by.

Heritage Bay and Pocket Shot I believe are the only suppliers. If your local pro shop can't get any Track balls you want, let me know at george_frilingos@hotmail.com and I'll refer you to a reliable overseas source.

I would have to say I havent had a bad Columbia 300 Ball, so they would be my preferred choice.

In 2nd place, Id have to agree with Matt, Track are clsoe behind.

Seriously you have to give Visionary balls a go, as they are awsome. I have the following Visionary Balls;

Granite Gargoyle which is a 320 grit wet sanded ball for super oily lanes

Crimson Executioner which is a fairly aggressive pearlized ball for medium lanes, and really eliminates those pesky corner pins.

Green Pearl Gargoyle which is also a fairly aggressive pearlized ball, however I have maximum finger weight on it to get it long on dry lanes (which it does tremendously)

Amulet which is a see through polyester ball similar to the skull ball.

I have been bowling for 24 years
(I currently hold a 210league ave - 180 games) and have tried Faball, Columbia, Brunswick, and none of them come close to Visionary. They are cheaper, more versatile and hit 10 times harder than any other brand of ball I have ever tried.

Give 'em a go and see what the others are missing out on. If you want to know anything at all about them drop me an email at Crazy@austarnet.com.au.
