and scored so well

9 x 300 games in 1 Tournament in Australia
And people wonder why the game is the way it is
Come on do you really think this is a reflection
on remarkable ability or yet another example of a ditch for
lane conditions to produce high scores !!!!!!!!

In Dion's defense, he threw well all weekend, as did George and Paul.
I watched Dion's 300 and every ball hit the pocket and was probably 2 boards out all game.
I saw some flush pocket balls from Michael Little, resulting in 2 7-10 splits in one game.
It was a pleasure to watch and all of the guys who bowled (even the 170 average bowlers who didn't make the cut) deserve to be applauded for their attempts to keep tenpin bowling alive and well in this country.
Thank You to all of those involved for a great weekend of bowling.

And the pros bowled 12 so far during the Marathon Event, don't see you bashing their conditions.
How about for once instead of living in the past, look towards the future.
When was the last time you saw the top 5 postions seperated by 40 pins at a major event in aust? Never because there's usually daylight between these positions.

Well done all Paul, Dion and George on making the top three. These Guys are some of the hardest working bowlers out there.
yes the scores where high, to be honest so what. Looking at the list of who entered - really there were no real surprises on who finished on top.
I would prefer to see harder conditions but I doubt that would change the result by much.
Special congrats to Dion you have been bowling so well lately, pity you couldn't go one position Higher.

Kegel's Challenger Series - Route 66. It's a 45ft 4.5:1 pattern (Harder than a house shot, not quite as tough as a sports pattern.)

Bad luck Dion, good to see all the hard work is paying off.
They bowled 53 games with only 12 300's. Good to see the Australian bowling has progressed so much that the PBA bowlers have something to aim for.
I seem to remember a few comments when they had 30+ 300 games in the Red, White & Blue Tournament earlier in the season.
