are there any results from the Open challenge so far - have checked the website, but nothing aside from the Classic scores.....

Just go to the website
and click on whats new......then push F5.

Live scores were uploaded daily and now that the event is over and the individual awards presented these have also been added at http://www.atbso.org.au/Challenge/results2012.htm

The above link only shows results for the Classic Challenge.
I can't find results for the Open Challenge.
Can anyone tell me if they have been posted and if so, where?

I did the same as you John.

The results are there below Classic. Although the heading says 2011 results, it is actually the 2012 results.
