Are synthetisc lanes better than wood?

I like both, depends what centre u bowl at as to the condition u get.

i have no preference either....
i bowl at Northcote (wood) on a monday nite and a tough condition is all most always put down.. i think this is great for bowlers as it provides everyone with the challenge of scoring...
i bowl at Keon Park (synthetic) on a sat. morning and i have found of late that the condition put down is getting easier but you still have to work for ur scores..

i agree with lefty in that it depends on what condition u get.. but i'd prefer to have a condition that challenges bowlers

well i used 2 love synthetic when i was a straight bowler but now that i have changed... i seem 2 b bowling better on wood n wood i love the sound of the ball going down...so id have 2 say wood now even dough keon park in the other!!

I bowl at keon park on synthetic lanes and recently have bowled on wooden lanes. The lanes seem to vary dramatically between the 2 centres. My personal choice is synthetic.

What is you preference
