Age Limit

I've bowled in a Adult league since i was 13 and it improved my bowling cause i had a challenge when bowling with the adults but also not to mucha round while bowling otherwise no bowling. I stilled bowled in a junior league but left when i turned 15 as there was just no compition and my average was dropping so finished the league and didn't bowl another junior legague again. If you good enough to compete against adults then i see no harm.

Ive been bowling in adult leagues since i was 14. Junior leagues are great, until you simply cant compete anymore, then where do you go? Stay in the junior leagues and not improve? Or go to an adult league and challenge yourself?

If juniors can compete with the adults, good on them, its the best way to improve your game in a league environment. Juniors bowling in adult/open events is the same thing. Why force these kids to watch their idols bowl, when they can go out and bowl with them. That again is the best thing to do for your game, bowl with the best.

My view, its fine for juniors to bowl in adult leagues/tournaments.

Ive been a friend of chris castle for a long time and its quite true that once a junior bowler has reached a certain point in juniors they want to push on to become better bowlers.Point proven in Chris he become a much stronger bowler today because of adult influence Shoot the mesenger but if teenager beats me so be it he played better than i did . Its the old saying the Kids are the future be it in bowling or anything else !!
