After that clip plays through, there's a link to paeng in 2008 (or 2007, wasn't looking that closely). His delivery is damn near identical, but the ball moves a bit differently these days Ian's style is as consistent as ever, but what a direct line he was shooting! Nice find

I can remember having 3 or 4 attempts just to qualify for our centre finals. (The only way to bowl SPC was to win one) Free air fare and entry was part of the centre prize. We used to get 60 - 70 bowlers trying out.
In SA at that stage we only had 2 AMF centres so we only got the 2 spots, so a lot of quality bowlers missed out. We would quite often drive to Melbourne for the weekend to try to win a spot.
Yes, those were the days.
