A plea to the Australian bowling community re: Australian youth team

Latest update on fundraising has it at $6900.

Goldpin Victoria has kindly given $250 each to David and Cassie. James, I believe, has received some help from Keon Park (AMF). I have also written letters to MLE along with other team members for team support. I keep writing though and haven't given up yet.

AMF have gone above and beyond the call for James. Raffles, Money sheets you name it they have done it. And to all the bowlers at Keon Park ( and you know who you are ) your support has been magnificent. It goes without saying the when a center has a bowler that achieves what these fine youth bowlers have achieved. They will leave no stone unturned to help out. I'm sure this can be said for all of the centers where they bowl. Im sure when the team comes back they will all be acknowledged here.

Thank you again to all of the supporters out there in the Australian Bowling community. I guarantee you that all members of the team are training hard and will be ready to show the rest of the world what we've got in 3 weeks time.

Let's see if we can break the $8,000 mark. That gives each of us a $1,000 kick start towards our trip.

Just bring this up to the top.

By now most of the guys would have been to the bank and are now thinking

"how am i going to pay this loan back".

Well if you have thought about donating something and haven't done it yet now is the time.

Dig deep people this is for the future of our sport.

I would like an answer to these two questions please.

1.Does the team Manager & Coach have to their way....

2.If they dont WHY ??????
 
The topic came up about the Youth & Mens Teams selection fiasco's tonight at bowling tonight.
I was told that the Managers & Coaches trips are paid for.
And any funding TBA receives covers there trips while the bowlers have to find $5,000-$6,000 for the honour.

Whether this is correct I would like to find out also.
