Canberra have been the over achievers this season

with the talent or lack of talent they have on their books they have no right to be near the 8.

Its a credit to the players and the coaching staff they way they have hung in there all season.

and the semi finalist are now worked out. Its now a dog fight for places 3-8
with Manly, Newcastle and Parramatta being the sides who look mostly to get 3rd and 4th and the home ground advantage in week 1 of the finals.

I must concede that the Raiders year is not finished yet given the golden point 7 seconds before extra time finished. The 1 point won't help their for and against percentage but that may not be a factor since the Sharks aren't doing anything to write home about.

So the Raiders will probably finish in 8th spot - then away to the Storm? Don't think they'll win the Telstr Cup from there.

Did you have your eyes shut watching the last bit of the game before golden point even was thought of... Didn't happen to see Adam Mogg pushed off the play the ball with the touch judge standing right there beside him. Perhaps the game wouldn't have reached the golden point stage if the referees and touch judges doing there bit as well..

Can see a big match being decided by the officials, rather than actually just controlled by them!!
