2016 WBT Changes and Dates

Hi, after talks with Rikki and the Wide Bay Tour Centres the following changes will be made to the 2016 Tour.

2016 Dates: 1st stop Gympie 30th/31st January, 2nd stop Maryborough 9th/10th April, 3rd stop Bundaberg 21st/22nd May, 4th stop Caboolture open 2nd/3rd July, 5th stop Caboolture Doubles 3rd/4th September and 6th stop Suncity 19th/20th November.

Cost: 1st attempt will be $100 and 2nd $60

Formats: All events will cut to the top 15 with a 7 game tri-matchplay final except the Doubles.

Prize money: 1st $700, 2nd $500, 3rd $400 4th $350, 5th $250, 7th $200, 8th $180, 9th 150, 10th $120, 11th $100, 12th $80, 13th $60, 14th $50 and 15th $40. This prize fund is based on 72 total entries which all events except Bundy achieved this year.

End of Year payout: $7.50 from each 1st Qualifying will go to end of year pay out which will give us about $2000, this will give us more prize money at each event as shown above.

2017 we expect Toowoomba Sunset to join our tour which will make 7 events.
