I know that situations do change for some people and that for all intents and purposes they put their names down with the intention to bowl... But it makes it hard for the organisers to confirm squads with people pulling out so close to an event... Maybe deposits to confirm entries is a way forward.

The only way that deposits currently occur is when squads are near full.. Take QLD World Cup for example.

This tournament has been nothing hut PERFECT so far, people dropping out have no idea what they're missing!
