Please find attached the week 1 standings after establishing the averages over the past 3 weeks
Nothing special to report EXCEPT MY 300 GAME !!!
Also once again Matt Bernhardt has had a great first night just as he did last season ...... will he keep it up ??

So here are week 4 and 5 results and for the 5th week we now have another new leader with ZAC now hitting the top spot
Super League average is 202.7

Attached are the last 3 weeks as a few files were saved in rick text and not word so you may have had trouble opening them.
Last week many people hit form with some good games and series
Dekland Modra opened up with a 297 and finished the night off with a 1022 series to collect $500 bonus. However his 297 was the only game he got a $10 game award for ?
Lousie Ingoe found her form with a 900 series shooting 203, 196, 256, 245. She was against Peter Wood who was subbing for Mr Stoppel 238, 238, 246, 202 and 924 series
Ashely Warren confirmed his stop at the top of the league with 246, 232, 162, 211 against Dion Alexander 217, 203, 238, 180
Matt Bernhardt also confirmed his more consistant form this season with 195, 263, 222, 264
Conor Quail had a nice 279 game. Phil Drummond had a close tussel with Tony Long winning only one game with a 246 BUT won the series 844 to 795 and picked up a 1/2 point bonus which may be handy at the end of the season ?

Mixed bag of scores this week !

Tony Stoppel returned with 4 wins but only one average bonus with a 873 series
Mr Joseph Weisz (?) had a 853 series and 2 wins
Frosty 875 series and 6 points
Louise Ingoe continued her comeback with a 869 and 6 points against Dekland Modra's 844 but this was still enough for Dekland to pick up the $20 player of the month pinfall
High series for the night went to sniffels - Zac Krebbekx with a 944 and 6 points

Opposing each other both bowlers opened up with the first 8 but Zac kept going with games of
300, 278, 234, 267 for a 1079 and a $500 bonus
to Dion's

After a week off and time to fix the oiling machine that went a bit awall there should be some games this week.
But even with difficult conditions last week there were still some good games and matches
Zac stayed on top of the standings with 869 against Louise
Phil Drummond got fired up with a 897 agaisnt Joe Weisz 884
Greg Keep had a 884 against Phil Allcroft who was subbing for Ross Elliott who is still out to pasture
Gramham Simpson shot a 865 against Peter Jones
Geoff Barry who was subbing for Hamish had 959 against Conor and one great match and Conor's only win 257-256

With nationals etc etc etc on over the next few weeks a number of people are pre bowling etc - where possible please help out by bowling where-ever possible and bowl staff will try to get lanes prepared if you let them know.
Last week saw a good 300 game to Keryn Delaney, even though it didn't attract the normal amount of noise.
Many close games but the closest was again Conor Quail, this time against Chris Mowat. The result was 2 games each with Conor just topping the pinfall with 926 to Chris 907.

Seems the big lefty is at it again
Tony Stoppel 217, 279, 266, 279 slammed Matt Bernhardt 4-0 with a nice 1041 series to also earn himself an extra $500 prize-money
Phil Drummond also put together a few good ones opening up with a 288 for a 899 series winning 3-1 against Greg Keep
Geoff Barry who is subbing for the injured Ross Elliott had 933 against Ashley Warren 859 to win 3 and a draw in the first game 238 each
Dekland Modra had 4 good games against Steve Barratt winning 4-0 with 225,216,229.257 for a 927

As you know I was there last week so thanks to Louise & Alex for helping out with the paperwork.
The High games etc on the sheet will be updated next week as Alex and I did the sheets over the phone
BUT congrat's to Conor on his 300 and big Phil Drummond had yet another 288 "so when is the 300 ?" also Tony Stoppel for his 280.
Also thanks to Peter for subbing for me - did well mate

Round 15 saw Tony Stoppel just miss another 1000 but still stretching out his lead
Plenty of other good games and series and the league average is now just over 202
Plus I just noticed Matt and others please ensure when you sub you put your names in or it stuffs the averages for those going for reps positions
I will fix thisa sheet but Conor still stays in the same position

Christmas Function is on Monday 20th December at Cafe De Vili's at 6pm so basically normal bowling time.
You need to confirm if you will be attending and if your bringing your partner.
Also more news on the renovations at Cross Road
No the air conditioning isn't done - we found that out last week - yuk
We are now not loosing lanes 1 & 2 and the centre is staying at 26 lanes.
So this was also good timing for Cheryl Thompson & Shirley Vreugdenburg who called last week to go on the list for next season and have resigned from the Monday league at Woodville.
So at this point we will be going back up to 26 players unless we can come up with a way of doing a 3 to a pair draw and work with the other leagues to fit in ??
