Yeah, we got the taping diagram, It is 7-10 split's new house pattern, however we are confident it will be challenging enough to have some fun on, while maintaining a healthy scoring pace, but still good enough to hold up over the 8 games.
It is very similar to Kegel's "Bourbon Street" pattern, similar ratio (6:1) same distance (40') although the "top hat" shape of the pattern isn't as pronounced, which will make it interesting.
While I have not bowled on this pattern (I didn't think it would be fair if I did) I can imagine both high and low rev bowlers being able to find a shot using multiple angles, although I will warn the low rev guys that given the amount of oil through the middle (60 units) you will probable want to stick to an outside "down and in" shot, I think speed control will probably play a big role.
The high rev guys will probably want to start off in the track area, and then move left as the day goes on.
Should be fun... Nice scoring, thinking pattern with minimum scratching of heads.
