Pattern will be available shortly.

Just as an observance:

I cringe a little when I set oil patterns for tournaments, and I have been involved with many different level of tournaments - local, region, state, ranked etc.

What works well in a certain centre is not the same for all other centres:
lanes age, type of boards, approaches, weather conditions, airconditioning, number of people in the centre (all that hot air), conditon holding up for the 16 games etc etc....

So .... when you put down the pattern at a friendly centre in your area it might not even present the same when you get to campbelltown.

But, bowling on a different pattern will encourage you to use your knowledge and extend your ability no matter where you bowl, and that can only help you and the sport of tenpin.

Condition will be available soon so you can choose the best equipment to bring.

Transport:
Several bowlers have used the direct train service from Domestic Terminal to Luemeah Station with great success: www.airportlink.com.au - airport and east hills line

Equipment: can be left at the bowl from Friday in the lock up Nursery / tournament room.

Opening Ceremony: Cara Honeychurch, Chairperson Tenpin Bowling Australia will be our guest for the opening, and is looking forward to watching our young bowlers compete.

Fees may be paid by cash or credit card at the Centre on Saturday 3rd

Prize fund
Payout for the boys will be extended to 20
Extra Handicap awards for non-cashing/qualifying boys and girls
Brunswick Bowling Ball lucky draw during re-oil on both Saturday and Sunday - thank you Brunswick Heritage Bay

Opening Ceremony with guest speaker Cara Honeychurch, 2.00pm Saturday

Tenpin Bowling Show will be filming during Monday and the Stepladder games - there will be a delay to finishing time as each game of the stepladder will be filmed individually, total over run approx 30/40 mins

SNSW Shield Team is fund raising with a sausage sizzle on Saturday and Sunday, the dads (with female supervision) will be cooking up a storm !!

NSW Youth Team Challenge will be filmed on Monday, so plently of action and great bowling for supporters and spectators

Jus curious based on 80 entrys was current prize fund on entry form, now that there are 122 will prize fund be increased? eg boy and girls equal??

Thank you to all the bowlers and parents / supporters for a great tournament this year at Campbelltown City Bowl. The 2009 Challenge Junior Sydney Cup was three days of competiitive bowling in a centre that is very supportive of junior and youth tenpin.

A special congrats to the winners: Laura Kairn and Sam Cooley as well as 2nd place Jess Seddon, Dwayne Vivien and 3rd place Georgya Britton, Chris Wingett.

Of course the success of an event is the combination of participants, centre management, tournament management and sponsors - and we are fortunate to have had all of these.
