Unfortunately early October is out for Barossa Cup as Country Cup is on that weekend.
I have spoken to Ken (manager) of Barossa Bowl & he wants to run it on the Oct 31st-Nov 1st weekend. It appears that may clash with a tournament in Melbourne but to run on that weekend we have the posibility of having the Semi-Finals & Final televised on the Tenpin Bowling Show.

Hopefully next year we can return to the normal August weekend the tournament has run for the last 20+ years.

Dont know Tony.
But if we get TV coverage for the Finals Ken said a lot more places were willing to put something into the tournament.
