You could have made the date at Easter, I know it conflicts with the AO but how many entries would you really lose, against how may would you pick up with the likes of George not there. How many Queenslander's went to the AO - 4/5 ?
Smaller events can conflict with the major events because so few can afford to travel. Years ago it was tried in NSW with the Parramatta Open and it was quite successful because there are a few who don't want to lay out the $700 to go bowling, plus if you won the local event you would have had to run top three to make the same money.
