2007 Coolangatta Tweed Tenpin's Christmas Handicap Classic

Sunday 18th November

Squad A: 8:30am Check In - 9:00am Bowl NSW TIME
Squad B: 10:30am Check In - 11:00am Bowl NSW TIME

Entry Fee: $60

This tournament is limited to 48 bowlers only.
Entries will close when the first 48 entries have been received.

This is a handicap tournament open to all TBA sanctioned bowlers.

Highest League Average as at 30th September. Proof of average may be required.

Bowlers who pay a deposit will be allocated to the squad first. All other entries will be given second preference by order of entries received first.

Format:

All Bowlers will bowl 6 games each with handicap.

Top 16 bowlers with Handicap will then bowl a 2 game block with Handicap head to head. (Pinfall is dropped).
Losers drop out - Winners go forward to next round. (Pinfall is dropped)
Head to Head format is repeated till the end.

1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd - 4th Place: $120
5th - 8th Place: $60
9th - 16th Place: $20

Re: Xmas Classic @ Cool/Tweed Tenpin Squad List

Congratulations to Belinda Hardie who won the Christmas Classic today defeating Tony Campbell by 45 pins.

Belinda finished 7th after qualifying with a 1276 with Handicap and went through the final rounds defeating Carl Womack (Top 16), Ben Allen (Top 8), Tim Mills (Top 4) and then Tony Campbell.

We also had bonus prizes given for those people who didn't make the Top 16. They were:

High Scratch Game: Todd Cattell - 220
High Handicap Game: Gordon Tully - 231
High Scratch Block: Samantha Walsh & Bob Hardie - 389
High Handicap Block: Nicole Mason - 447

Some other High Games were: Ben Allen - 277, Ben Fairbank - 257 & Mitchell Bird - 242.
