About this stage they produce a spokesperson (usually from Victoria) who proceeds to give a long winded and highly technical load of BS (reason) for the delay. Spokesperson then plays the the negativity card for about 2 paragraphs and indignantly signs off.
You will be left wondering why you bothered in the first place.

I am on my way over to the TBA office now to pick up my cheque. I was told that some cheques have been sent and others haven't. By coincidence, TBA did not have my address and that staff at TBA said that it was a common problem with people not completing the nomination forms at Nationals.

If you think you are owed money and haven't received it, it might pay to ring TBA office and check that they have your current address. As for me $91.91, whoa, party at my place!!!!

Is it too hard to place a post on either this web site or their own suggesting that bowlers contact the office as they don't have a mailing address for prize money?

Just a little story from the past for you all. ...
I used to stop off at this convienence store three or four times a week and I swear to God, I got short-changed each and every time by the very same clerk. Each time, I would correct him and ask for the additional twenty or thirty cents in change. And each day he would apologise and hand over the correct amount....Now what would happen if 95% of his customers were too shy to ask for their money?
Maybe June can answer this one.

Well all - I had been waiting patiently for my cheque to arrive in the post, confident that my current mailing addy was in TBA records, assuming that I too was part of the mailout on 21 December......

After reading George's post (in particular) and others I decided to take matters into my own hands and emailed TBA enquiring after my cheque. Today I received a reply...............

"Hi Jane. We are sending more cheques out today and yours is one of them. ..........."

Hmmmmmm :?: :?: :?: :?: I will be interested to see the date on my cheque too George, I will let you know.

People - if you think you are due a cheque and it still hasn't arrived I would suggest you contact TBA - I dare say that mine will not be the last one mailed out. LOL
