Congratulations must go out to James Bowles on a fantastic display of bowling this week. On Tuesday night James bowled 222, 299, 279 for 800 exactly. He then backed this up on Wednesday with 258, 290, 289 for a huge 837. A 273 average over those 6 games. Truly phenomenal.

Congratulation are in order as James rolled his 5th 300 last night in the Mergers League at Keon Park. He finished the night with an impressive 19 in a row after changing to his Ebonite NVS. Congrats mate. I'm gonna have to start bowling league again soon so i can catch you ;)

I would rather bowl tournaments with a lower percentage payout across the field but a higher return when you cash. Makes the times when you cash actually worthwhile. Wherever you cut to is where the cash should start. Re-entry events sound like a good idea too. More chances to qualify but...

Re: Cancellation of Women’s World Championships 2009 and associated Congress meeting An economically sound and responsible decision. I never realised how much it costs to host an event of that calibre. Quite an expensive exercise.

A lot of it comes down to not having the same number of people bowling as you have participating in the other sports you've mentioned. That and i believe that the current money going to the TBA from all of its various sources is simply not enough to allow for ambitious and wide sweeping plans...
