What's your fave bowling alley/s, and where are they?

Just wondering what bowling allies people like, whether it be in Australia, or overseas. My fave bowling alleys are Illawarra Strikezone, NSW(My home bowl), Shoalhaven Bowl, NSW, and Bankstown Bowl, NSW. There's probably more, but i can't think of them.

my fav bowl atm is Mt Warren there the nicest lanes. the right amount of oil for my style and the equiptment i use.

Illawarra Strikezone is a great venue, even though I've only bowled there once, and that was for trying out a new ball. I can only imagine what its going to be like when Presidents Shield is on next month and the place is packed!

Penrith have some excellent lanes, scores are normally pretty high. Dee Why and Castle Hill are also in my list of favourite centers.

Mine would have to be Illawarra Striezone (home centre), i would have to say, Shoalhaven because it was my old home centre.

Closed down a few months ago, the owners were bankrupt and the authorities walked in off the street, kicked the people out of the building (and the guests out of the hotel, and the patrons out of the casino allegedly) and padlocked the doors to the whole place.

Still locked up as far as I'm aware - Sad.

Tuggerenong in ACT and Strikezone in NSW, the carry at Bankstown the other weekend was phenomenal, the pins felt like feathers.

My fave centres would have to be...Illawarra Strikezone...my home centre and I dont mind the lanes at Orange either. I also like Bankstown Bowl the lanes for City of Sydney were awesome I reckon...

The last time i bowled at chermside i really liked them. and i also like kedron, milton, mt gravatt, mt warren. and logan city cause they soooooooooooo easy

The best bowl would have to be Maitland my home centre and also Strike Zone and Bankstown has good lanes as well....

I love some of the centers people hate. My all time fav is cannon hill. I always bowl well there and it has given me a couple 700 series, it's about the only place i feel comfortable playing outside.

Tuggerenong is great, filled with the nationals people (and all the grand stands) and it was still possible to get around. The lanes are slick with synthetic approaches. It was the newest bowl aus center at the time, everything felt and looked so clean and modern.

Elizabeth, most oil ever seen on lanes. Dont know if something went bad but, wow.
