With no activity on this forum since December was wondering what was happening tournament wise over their in NZ. What is the competitive bowling scene like at present.

Good point..
If someone is aware of a proposed tournament in NZ, please let Brenton Davy - Filming Manager for the Tenpin Bowling Show know.
It would give some exposure if on Australian TV and might even swing TV1 in NZ to show it on their network - some home grown sport instead of all US stuff!
Worth some though anyway.

Most of the tournament information for our tournaments are online at www.tbnz.co.nz
We have a small calender which keeps us busy with 6 stops on our National Bowling Tour. Each event attracts around 100 Bowlers with a mens, ladies, junior/youth and senior divisions.
We also have what I consider "majors" in the World Cup Qualifying, National Teams Championship and National Championships.
Other than that we have a number of regional tournaments which seem to do well and appear on the rankings calender.

If there is anything with a stepladder preferably that does not clash with our filming schedule, then we would definitely look at it.

Never been to New Zealand before........
