What happened at Boronia??

I'm just curious to see whether anyone else noticed the change in conditions at Boronia over the past few weeks. I'll confess I'm not a top end bowler, but i can still hold over a 190 average, so i know enough. Just before the school holidays the backends seemed to disappear totally. This lasted about four weeks at the least, and my average dropped quite badly. Any line i bowled, any speed, just skidded through. Last week they finally seemed back to their old form.
Was it just me, or has anyone noticed the difference?

Unsure which night you bowled but on Tuesday, in the league I bowled in I found the condition to be more consistent than in the past. True that there is more oil (skid more) but I'm flexible so I adapted pretty quick. Other nights it's dry like a bone. A good mixed, otherwise it would be boring if the condition was the same all the time.

At least the backend is better now. More bite.
