)

It could stand for Another Major Funded in the case of the super six series.
I am sure alot of bowlers would rather thank AMF for their sponsorship and providing us with some excellent tournaments to bowl in rather than bagging them.
Thanks should go to AMF and their staff, Tony Goodwin and all the other people involved like Graham for promoting the sport and trying to get something going rather than bitching on about it.

HI ANDREW,
a bit of light hearted fun you say!!!
well going by your posts on bowltech i would say that you are not posting in jest.
you are extremely bitter with the treatment metered out to you by your previous employers.
if you hold no malice then remove the signature that you use on both this site and bowltechs.
life goes on.

regards,
len.

Ok........To clear this up once and for all....I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH AMF...I do have a problem with way I was treated by the managemnet.

Of course I am bitter with the way things have happened, wouldn't you??...I'd say yeah

It's funny, everyone that knows the full story, has completly backed me up, it's just people that do not know that, take my comments out of context......but that is fine, everyone is entitled to there opinion.

All I'll say is that when 98% of league bowlers at Moonah sign a petition on my behalf (no, I didn't start it, a league bowler did), I think it goes to show that something may have happened that shouldn't have.

If ANYONE has a problem with some of the comments that I have said....please Email me on androo300@hotmail.com......please don't clutter this site up with crap....it's not worth it.

BTW Len.....wasn't there a post on Bowltech like this at one stage??? I'm not sure.

Once again, I AM SORRY FOR MY COMMENTS.

Insider: Apparently you have taken my post out of context...I was just having some harmless fun, and just trying to lighten things up around here.

I too, agree that AMF do alot for tournaments ect., and with out them, the Super 6 series would not be happening

Sorry to anyone that has been offended by this, but if you had a sense of humour, you would probably understand!

Because they have www.amfbowling.com.au

actually, Australian Mineral Foundation has gone bust, so they should be able to wrench the site from them.

Way back in the dark ages of bowling AMF meant only one thing. It was an expression we all used and which is used even more today.

AMF:- Ain't my Fault.....

AMF......I believe it stands for American Manufacturing Foundries, original company was a steel foundry but cant be 100%.

As you can see, previous posts before this one have been removed for obvious reasons.

I would ask that some common sense be placed into the minds of people who wish to comment further on anything that has happened in past events, and that you refrain from using this medium to make personal attacks to people.

This is not directed to anyone in particular at all, its a generalisation directed to all members who post on this forum

My point is: Androo isn't gaining any respect by dragging his personal issues with a particular manager into the forum. If he displayed this lack of maturity and professionalism whilst working, then no loss to AMF.

I believe one of the previous posts was posted (Now deleted) by someone at Moonah Bowl trying to do a fair bit of stirring under the profile address of "igregson"
In that case that would be Ian who works down the back, however I believe that it may not have been him given that these posts can be breached if you do not log off correctly nor delete the history from someone's computer, I have found this out first hand.
However some very odd comments from a member of the counter staff led me to believe that there is more to this than meets the eye.
Let that be the end of the subject.
