VoIP

Anyone using VoIP with an adapter or a soft phone? Just wondering which service provider you are using and if you are using more than one.

We are using VoIP, only have the one phone and it is plugged into our router/broadband modem, which is on the same phoneline as our normal house phone. We use it to call family in the UK for $0.0199 per minute, minimum charge of 10c. Thats through TPG Internet

We use VOiP through Engin. No extra phone line - connects to broadband via modem. Local and nation wide untimed, anytime calls cost 10c. Monthly access (Engin) is $9.95.

Cheers mate

I use yahoo and msn messenger hook up a mike and talk to
freinds and relo's for free.................

I'm using VoIP through a Sipura 3000 which I believe is the same as Engine uses. The reason I asked is that I am getting drop outs on the other end.
I can hear other people clearly but they are having the odd problem hearing me. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
I have been up and down the Whirlpool forum and changed the Advanced settings but it is still happening.
Service Provider is freecall.
An additional reason for asking is that we are getting a VoIP consultant or consultants to look at the TBAQ Office set up as we need new phones and we dont want to buy old technology.
Any comments on Office installations, good points and bad, would be welcome.
