I'm looking to start bowling again and just wondering if anyone knows of a good centre around my area. I'm living in Macleod/Watsonia and dont want to travel to far as I have limited access to a vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Maybe Keon Park or Northcote would be good for you. They are both about the same distance from macleod/Watsonia. Hope to see ya at Keon Park!

I knew of the centre at greensborough, just didnt know what it was like. Will probly be going there next friday night for a few games.

How far is keon park from where I'm at? I'm fairly new to the area I havent explored much yet.

Come to Greensborough. It's on Grimshaw St heading towards Bundoora. Just look for the big pin out the front :)

Greensborough (Should be Bundoora) is a 20 synthetic lane / wooden approach setup. Plenty of space in the bowlers area. You should enjoy it.

Keon Park Bowl, Keon Parade, Keon Park is about 15 - 20 odd minutes drive from Watsonia. It has 28 synthetic lanes. You should investigate the bus services that run past Greensborough station as I believe theres one that runs to Broadmeadows and runs right past Keon Park Bowl. Otherwise you would need to take the train to Clifton Hill and then get on the Epping train to Keon Park station. The bowl is just 100 metres from the station.

Northcote Bowl, 166 Victoria Road, Northcote has 30 wooden lanes and you can get there by taking the train to either Alpington (Bus to Moonee Ponds) or Dennis (Bus to Latrobe Uni) stations and getting on the Bus services that stop next to the bowl.

Terry
