TWIN TOUR 2002

Thanks must go to all the bowlers who have supported the Twin Tour 2002 - which incorporates The Have Ball - Will Travel Tour and the Powder Puff Tour. The tour averaged 95 bowlers for 7 Tour Stops with the entering average for the 'Balls' being 186 and the average bowled for the year - 185. The 'Puffs' entering average was 168 - average bowled 169. With maximum handicaps for the Balls of 35 and the Puffs being 45 - the 'target' bowlers are showing their support.

Payouts for the year totalled over $25500 and this with an entry fee of $65 and four divisions to pay out. More would be great!!!!!

Mary, we are only sorry that we missed the first two stops this year. However, next year seeing as we will be fully fledged Qld'ers and not just some blowins from the NT, we will be there from number 1 thru 7 for sure!

The Twin Tour gave our bowling a much needed boost in the sense that it was about fun.....we enjoyed the variety of centres, the competition, and the good naturedness that all the competitors showed over the 6 months we participated...and the fact that a bowler can finish as low as 20th and STILL get his money back supports the theory that payouts do not have to be top heavy.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome, and we look forward to next years series with great anticipation!!

Feel a bit weird about the second file name .. seems to be referring to the CABOOLTURE BALLS SCRATCH tournament !! Never knew about that one !! :lol:
