2 x 289's @ Tweed

An introduction of a new oiling pattern saw the start of some great bowling tonight at Tweed.

To start off the night in the second game, Simon Koschel bowled a 289 leaving the four pin in the 11th frame. The third game saw Steve Kable bowl a 258 (sparring the 7th & 9th frame).

The fourth and final game had Weng Nish bowl 10 in a row followed by a cold ten pin! Ouch! Both 289 games picked up $150 each.

Also some great scratch series scores as well:
Steve Kable - 942
Simon Koschel - 893
Jason Thompson - 876
John Williams - 869

Nice bowling everyone and congratulations to Simon and Steve for their great games.

For those that are interested, we are looking for three new bowlers to fill a team for the rest of the season. 4 games for $27 :)

Congratulations must go out to the Owners/Managers of Tweed Tenpin after making the purchase of what I am told was peviously Milton's Kegal. It has made an instant improvement to lane conditions with 2 x 289's being bowled on the first night by Simon and Weng and I'm sure a huge improvement on league average for the week.

WELL DONE GUYS!! Things were looking a bit grim there for a while but this has injected new life into the bowl.

There was a total of 32 (200) games last night for 32 bowlers. The league average improved a total of 11 pins to 175. Huge effort!
