Hi Guys
Just letting everybody know that on Wednesday night 4th Oct at the Strike Bowl on Chapel st. Triple MMMs the Cage will be challenged by my team from the Earlybirds League at Keon Park. "Gamesover" the season just completeds champion team challenged the Cagers to a one game shoot out. They accepted so its game on.
If anybody would like to come along and have a look please do. It will be starting around 6.30 and i think go for about 1 hour. Come and support the Cage guys cos they are going to need all the help they can get :D
Phil

word of warning take your white dots strike have never layed oil on their lanes in their lives!enjoy best time to bowl at strike is when you are drunk and you dont care?
cheers

Just went into the Triple M website to see what happened last night. This was what I found:

The Cage were up against Captain Fabulous Phil and his mates Gorgeous George, Rob the hitman, Steve the Stirrer and Angela Angel Eyes at Strike Bowling in Chapel Street.....

The Cage played honourably....they even managed a few strikes....unfortunately, they were no match for the opposition who were in the end....just too good...(Hey...these guys had their own bowling balls and SHOES....!!)

The Cage
Matt "rolling thunder" Parkinson 69
Peter "going spare' Berner 116
Mike "the only cage member that looks at home in a bowling ally" Fitzpatrick 77
Jim "big balls" Brayshaw 99
Brig "three holes or perfect ten" Duclos 99
TOTAL 454

Game's Finished
Fabulous Phil Allen - captain 188
Gorgeous George Balijinoski 119
Rob the hit man hingston 188
Steve the stirrer allan 178
Angela 'angel eyes' allen 168
TOTAL 841

There are a few pics on the website, but I thought I would display the 2 teams...
Phil, you may want to add more to this post. How did you enjoy it?

Thanks Jenny

It was a lot of fun. I think the cage guys thought it would be easy but they found out real soon that its not. We smashed them but they do have the right of rechallenge so who knows it might become a regular challenge.

I think everybody who came enjoyed themselves and the Cage guys were very obliging with chatting to people and stuff. All round was a fun night.

Now imagine if they bowled against a good team....:p
Should have used house balls and house shoes. That would have showed them!

Craig

I offered for them to use the bumpers and to give them 300 pins start. And to use house stuff but they didnt want to. they thought they could just beat us. And as far as playing a good team i think u have a short memory buddy. From what i remember it was 10 zip last time correct.

Phil

But then again you didnt have your sister playing to hold the team up did you:rolleyes:

...and here we go with my sister blah blah blah blah blah crap again!

Your best five versus our best five scratch (as per the Cage match!)
$20 a game.... You on? :p

OK

At strike on chapel with no oil short lanes and crap approches. Not a problem as long as you pay for the games. And the drinks.:D

Now, Now boys settle down.
Yes Phil it was great to come down and watch, I told Pete that they would have to come to KP next time - wonder if they will rechallenge? .

I also Didnt realise how tall Parko was!
It was also great to see that they were very approachable & friendly and even stayed around for us all to chat to.

Chantal and Greg

Its $10 a game each so that would be $100 for a one game challenge plus 2 coronas each at $8. Would cost you $180 to win $20. Where up for it if you guys are.

All i can say is bring it lol

With those scores, they could walk into the Knox Shield team!

I have to say that on the night i saw something that i dont think i will ever see again in bowling. Matt Parkinson picked up the 5-7-10 . ON THE FIRST SHOT. Leaving the rest for a spare was the most amazing thing i have seen in ages lol
