TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- All bowlers will play eight (8) games in their allocated squad. A lane change will be made after each two(2) game block.
- Each squad will be a maximum of 42 bowlers.
- The top ten (10) bowlers (scratch) will contest ten (10) rounds of matchplay. 30 bonus pins will be awarded for every win.
- After the top ten (10) scratch bowlers have been decided the field will be re-graded with handicap and the top eight (8) remaining bowlers will contest seven (7) rounds of matchplay (with handicap). 30 bonus pins will be awarded for every win.
- Qualifying pinfall will be carried over to both matchplay finals
TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS
1. All TBA and MTBOV rules & regulations will apply.
2. Bowlers will be limited to one (1) entry into this event.
3. All bowlers must report to the Tournament Control point and have their entry fee PAID IN FULL by the designated check in time for the respective squad.
4. Suitable and acceptable bowling attire must be worn by all bowlers. Jeans, cords, collarless or sleeveless shirts, track pants are all unacceptable attire.
5. Unsporting conduct will not be tolerated.
6. All bowling equipment in use, must be in accordance with TBA regulations. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to check any equipment at any time and deal with any breaches in the appropriate manner.
7. Participating bowlers cannot smoke while actually competing in this event.
8. Average based on highest league average over 18 games as at July 31 2002, except MTBOV members where rated averages will apply.
9. Any matter not covered here will be decided by the tournament committee.
10. Entry forms with non-refundable deposit of $50, must reach Ed Fleming Lanes or MTBOV by closing date.

Please note that the lanes will not be re-oiled between squads
Matchplay: Approximate start 2.30pm
Presentations: Approximately 5.30pm
A sausage sizzle will be provided for all competitors during finals
