THE RACHUIG FLOCK
[1] The FRAWLEY FALCON
Sitting in its nest perched high in the Rachuig tree this Bird of Prey is perhaps the most feared by other members of the flock. A large and widely travelled bird migrating to all parts of the globe in search of further conquests. Often seen with its mate, The Cassellwary.
[2] The WESTERN MUIR
A well preened bird found mainly in the trees surrounding West Australian golf courses. Noted for its unusually poor eyesight this small but tough bird has won numerous battles with other flock members. Widely travelled it recently added to its own flock.
[3] The BELMONTE BANTAM
A young fiesty bird with thick black plumage found mainly in NSW. Constantly squawking during battle the Bantam has developed a strange habit of holding rocks with both its wings tossing them at its foe. Has the rest of the flock pondering this strange behaviour.
[4] The THOMMO-HAWK
A once somewhat plump bird from NSW whom many thought to be extinct but was discovered living in the northern areas of Australia. Has recently migrated back to NSW where it once blossomed.
[5] The RILEY PENGUINS
Also known as the ASHen MATT these strange flightless birds are found mainly on the frozen tundra of Tasmania. Migrating to the mainland only rarely they have never been found west of Adelaide. Normally found in pairs.
[6] The Pre-historic DAVEY Bird
A descendant from the dinosaurs this once nomadic bird now rarely leaves its nest. Found only in SA a tall, somewhat ungainly bird whom during battle kept the rest of the flock entertained with its vast array of amusing antics.
[7] The MULLETED GARDINER
So named because of its strange feathered head gear this large voracious bird constantly threatens the other flock members. Once prolific in the west where it plundered its riches terrorising the local bird life. Ginger-cropped Mollydookus still getting over it.
[8] The NORTHERN DOUGLAS
A tall gangly bird from the Kingaroy area where its favourite food, the peanut is in abundance. Noted for its colourful plumage this noisy bird will strut around during battle squawking its favourite mating call.
[9] The DESERT MAGLERIAN
Preferring the dry desert heat these vulture like birds rarely migrate flying south only once a year to re-new its battle with the Western Muir and Skoopwren. Often found feasting on the carcass of a dead camel.
[10] The FRALINGO FLAMINGO
Originally from the European region this awkward looking bird has recently been discovered living in tropical Qld. Constantly preening itself it can stand for hours peering at its own reflection in a window. A very silly bird.
