Hi guys ...
Just a quick announcement to let people know that The Party League (Handicap and Scratch Singles) will be kicking off again this Monday night (10/1/05) at Chermside Hyperbowl. (3 games of singles, 3 bowlers per lane, 100% of 200 handicap).
Be there at 7.30pm for the pre-league meeting to discuss how it will run this year. Normal start time is 8pm.
There will be the normal ... If you are the 'bowler of the week' you get to bring in the music for the next week. We have a weekly newsletter (normally) and the person who starts off with the most strikes in a row gets a free drink. We also have been known to do a little bit of fundraising for Walter De Veer teams and such, but never without the chance to win it all back.
And six strikes in a row is a Senegal, so celebrate and take your shirt off ....
We have a good core of bowlers in the league with most averaging between 160-190. All welcome.
