Thanks Baron,
Your sources are impeccable as always!!
Yes entry forms for the 2002 Perth Tenpin Cup are now out and available. A big thanks goes to Brunswick for their tremendous support of this year's event. It's great to have them back on board.
FORMAT:
Stage One:
All bowlers bowl 16 games in two seperate appearances of eight games each.
Stage Two:
The top 16 bowlers on total pinfall will compete over one round of matchplay, using the bonus pin system. (30 pins for a win, 15 pins for a draw)
Note: All pinfall from stage one is carried forward to stage two. All pinfall is then dropped prior to the stepladder final.
Final:
Fifth to second places after stage two, based on total pinfall (including bonus pins) will contest the stepladder final; 5th Vs 4th, winner Vs 3rd, winner Vs 2nd, with all matches being played over one game.
Grand Final:
After 5th-3rd places have been decided, the remaining two bowlers will contest a one game Grand Final. If the 1st place bowler is defeated, a second match of also one game will be bowled to decide the 2002 Perth Tenpin Cup Champion.

With a great prize fund this year and a top 16 format, I'm sure we'll attract a great field of locals, interstaters and hopefully a couple of internationals. Squads are filling so get your entries in ASAP and I will see you all on the lanes in June!
