Congratulations to our great "mate" (can we still use mate on this forum??? 
), Rod "Rocket" Stewart, on his fine win yesterday in Sydney Seniors Cup. Congrats also to the Great Lady, Jeanette Baker, who took home the Ladies division.
May I also thank Jeff Salt and his team for running a great tournament, hope it goes ahead next year.
Also, thank you to the local NSW bowlers, who showed such great hospitality to we interstaters - Salty and Suzy for accommodation, Susanne Jack, John Ford and Kathy Luxford for accommodation and airport transfers (Fordy, just as well you have mellowed, otherwise that overinflated airport traffic warden wouldn't have stood a chance!!).
We Qld seniors look forward to repaying the hospitality in January when the 2nd Brisbane Seniors Cup is held at Caboolture.
