Just got off the phone to Brett George , Looks like he wont be back for the rest of the season .Due to his Knee Op.
With that , He only needed 4 more games to get his awards

Which are 774 series , Highest League Average 219
Worth $200 +

With having 2 Knee Ops this year and missing a lot of weeks ,
I dont think it is fair for him to miss out on these awards

Wonder what you all think of this matter

Agreed on that one, he shouldn't miss out on these awards that clearly indicated he bowled well.

Also wanted to raise another issue that may need attention at constitution.

This year some bowlers are on the fringe of entering full time, and to get in, sub on various teams. I have noticed that some of these subs are bowling full time due to early exits of other bowlers. My question is:

If these bowlers have bowled most of the year in the league as a 'sub', do they get preferential selection in next years draft?

Some of the part time subs are higher in the induction order than their full time counterparts and the rumor mill :agrue: is indictaing some may jump the 'que' to get into super league.

With the 'que' getting bigger as our reputation grows, should this be dealt with?

Spuer League Drafts

What i remember of the Super League draft is this ,

1st- Picks are people replacing bowlers who left thru the season

2nd- Picks are people that are playing as subs

3rd - Is the people on the waiting list

But that is how i remember it last time i was President

But might have changed since then .

I will find out next monday night thru Pam , Trevor and Rodney

Hi, I think that it is a bit unfair for Brett to miss out on these awards, afterall he is the best in the league this season.

In regards to getting into the league i'm quite sure that the list is followed, i don't think that anyone can jump the queue. But the best person to ask is probably Pam.

And nice bowling Mick, a 773 is an awesome effort, you'll just just have to go for high series on mon nite.

I don't know what the constitution of the league says but I think it is unfair.

Should fall to the residing committee to put a proposal to the league to allow Brett to take his just rewards. If it wasn't for the ops he would certainly be doing so, so I don't see why he should not be getting them.

thanks for the votes guys. the constitutuion says you have to bowl 2/3 of the season so i dont think theres much i can do. im working on my knee to get back to bowl the 4 games i need to qualify but if i dont so be it i will just have to try next year.
