Subbing

Hi I was just wanting some feed back on Subbing. A friend of mine subbed in a league recently and was asked to pay for the cost of bowling the games. But obviously not the social money.
I always assumed it was free bowling for the night but am i wrong.

Usually the sub pays nothing, but its really a private arrangement between the team member and his or her sub. Your friend should really have clarified the arrangement first.
In many leagues when a sub bowls the regular team member either gives him the money or else pays the following week when he/she returns.
Some Leagues however dont allow credit and insist that the money is either paid on the night or in advance.
It sounds like the person who asked your friend to sub is a stranger to the sub situation.
