State Masters Champions

I am led to believe that there will only be 1 masters champion representing each State at the 2003 National Masters. This is rumoured to be true for both Adults and Juniors.
Any chance of some formal statement from whoever is wearing the hat this week ?

Andrew S,

The rumour is that you have started this rumour.

Actually no, Tiffany. I was aware of the Adult decision late last night, but only today was I made aware that it will also apply to Juniors.

In the Juniors NSW has 2 State masters representatives at the Nationals.
Queensland also has 2 (North & South).
Queensland has now (2003) been allowed a North Rachuig team and a South Rachuig team, and we were led to believe that NQ and SQ would each send a State Masters Rep to the Nationals, as per the Juniors.
It now seems that is not the case.

So this only effects Qld, sounds fair to me.

I guess NZ will also have 2 Masters.

Otherwise it won't leave much room for the qualifiers.

New Zealand don't enter the picture regarding Masters. Sure they are the guest Rachuig team but I doubt that arrangements have been made for overseas Masters qualifying. Interesting concept though.
It only affects Qld if it only applies to adults. If it also applies to Juniors then it will affect NSW as well.
