Skins and VSS spot

The first VSS event for 2010 is being held at Mentone Bowl.
As a prelude we are conducting an 8 game Skins on Sunday 31st January at 10am. Just $60 to enter, with each Skin worth $70.
The Highest 8 game series will win a FREE spot into the VSS tournament (valued at approximately $90)

Results of Skins and VSS spot

To all bowlers that participated thankyou for your support and hopefully it was a good hitout for the upcoming VSS Tourament on 28th February.

We had bowlers from all parts, Werribee, Frankston, Boronia and Horsham and many locals with a couple of lady bowlers also.

As we had 25 bowlers, 5 more than forecast we extended the payout to 2nd place for each 8 game skin receiving $20.

Lee Phillips was the big winner on the day, winning 4 skins and the overall earning himself a FREE entry into the VSS tournament.
Lee averaged 215.
The only other bowler to shoot over the card was Ondre Hedi bowling very consistently, not winning any skins but averaging 208. Nice bowling Ondre.
