I must point out that this was the first time Simon had bowled in a year. The previous time was this same tournament in 2009, prior to which he had only bowled league a few times in 2008 and 2009.
He used a borrowed Tropical Storm, bowled great, qualifying for matchplay easily and showing how talented he is. He pulled out of matchplay due to his hand being a mess.
Last year, Carl started with 7(?) strikes at Gympie then ankle tapped for a gutter (Carl shot 2 x 300's and a 296 at the next event). Simon has topped this.
