What a day! 34 teams participated with the majority in Christmas gear. Photos will be posted tomorrow ......... attaching results.
Congratulations to Tim Sullivan and Jak McDougall (WHATEVER !!!) with 220.5 hcp. team average who managed to hold off the 2008 champs Tony Hamilton and Katie Kroehnert (DOUBLE K & HAMSTER) by only 13 pins (219.2). LOOK AT OUR BAUBLES (Darryl Alford and Rebekah Meads) bowled 214.8 hcp. to finish third and BAH! HUMBUGS! team of Vaughan White and Gary Bernardin led the charge for the 'oldies' in fourth place.
Payout was to 11th place for $3440 and another 8 places of bottles of wine were paid.
BEST TEAM NAME: Santa's Num Nuts - Brian Robinson and Ryan Coombes
CUTEST OUTFIT: Rebekah Meads but according to the 'blokes' there were many contenders!
SPECIAL AWARD for Best Dressed - Matt Que
BEST DRESSED TEAM - BELLE AND BALLS - Cindy Phelan and Brendan Meads
SPECIAL AWARD for Best Dressed Team went to STOP COMPLAINING SANTA - Shayne Melton and Mark Lawton who were the Men in Black !
LUCKY BOWLER OUTSIDE PRIZE PAYOUT - Donna Adams
AND 36 Lucky Dips were collected - XXXX, Nuts & Bolts and goodies.
RAFFLES were won by Mesky and Angela
Thanks once again to the bowlers who continue to make this a traditional event and for entering into the spirit of Christmas - HO! HO!
