BRISBANE (10 July, 2018) – Anticipation and excitement are building as bowlers prepare to travel from around Australia to compete for a sensational line-up of prizes including international travel, trophies, shopping vouchers and cash rewards in this year’s QUEENSLAND JUNIOR CUP.
The tournament will be hosted by Caboolture Bowl on the weekend of 21-22 July and the variety of activities in the Moreton Bay region adds to the attraction for players and their families to come to Queensland for this popular tournament. Situated between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, the Moreton Bay region offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, wildlife experiences and inspiring natural beauty.
The chance to win flights to Asia with multi-award-winning SCOOT is a further incentive rarely available to junior bowlers - the opportunity to holiday in Singapore or compete in one of the many tenpin bowling tournaments held there is a thrilling bonus for the male and female QJC champions. SCOOT is passionate about making travel attainable for all and enabling people to experience what it terms ‘Wandermust’ - the innate human need to travel and seek new experiences.
BPD Bowling Australia, EUROPCAR and Chobani Yoghurt are all on board again this year as valued supporters of the QJC while Moreton Bay Region Tourism and Morayfield Shopping Centre have donated a variety of items for the Welcome kits that will be distributed to all participants. The shopping centre has also generously contributed prizes to be awarded to the male and female High Scorers in this year’s QJC, further increasing the prize-pool and enhancing the overall experience of competing in the Queensland Junior Cup.
Squads are filling fast, so go to the SQ Junior Committee’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/groups/442247712566981/) to register for the tournament. The entry form contains full details, including accommodation options and sightseeing suggestions in the beautiful Moreton Bay region.
