Its called the McKenia Shield (i think thats the right spelling), and yes, there is still a big turn out every year. I have heard that this year its full, 14 teams, not to sure, it might just be a rumor.
This year Redcliffe is sending a team for the first time. The Boys are:

Back in the day...

*lol* Man, that's just proving how much older (not old) I really am. When I was in juniors we all used to call it The Queensland Country Cup. (Or for short QCC) I think 1999 QCC was my last ever tournament as a junior. I miss it so much, you get to meet so many wonderful people from all over Queensland, not just the North. Hope everybody that has been selected makes the most of it and has a hell of a time!!!

Hey, Yeah i reckon we should hit Hayley with that idea, Example this years Rocky shield we went by Private Veichle and some of the Drivers did get tired after 5 or 6 hours of driving and we did stay over night in Mackay but it is still a long drive to there.

Plus we had Trouble with the room in the car (bowling bags).
