Graham,

Commiserations on the loss of what looks like a really beautiful dog. I'll bet he was always there for you through the good times and the bad, whether you had bowled a 460 or an 812. I think I've got some sense of the loss you are feeling; when we lose a mate like the "big feller", it leaves a really big hole in our life.

its true dogs are your best freinds you yell at them and they still are happy with ya i lost my dog a few months back and you will get over it mate . sorry to hear about it mate .

We know exactly how you feel, we lost our sweet Molly on the morning of her mistress's wedding in May(try keeping that a secret from the bride) then two weeks later her mate, Buster just couldn't go on without her so he just lay down and gave up - BUT - we now have TWO new pups a Rottie and a littlie, not to replace but to go on - couldn't live without our animals.

dogs truly are a man's best friend. my dog always knows when i am upset and will come and sit next to me on the couch and put his head in my lap, when i am happy he is so happy too. hope you get over your loss, he looks such a lovely dog

I read the post..turned around and there was Cookie..close by as always..gave him an extra hug.
