I would personally like to thank the staff of Cairns Bowl for their excellent treatment of all the bowlers, I mean where else would you have;
* Half the lights turned off in the centre with music pumping for a disco party during Rachuig roll offs :evil:
* Two lanes of social bowlers placed next door to those rolling off (i.e social on 7&8 while roll off was on 9&10) with people stepping out on you while you were bowling :evil:
* Machines that broke down and played up constantly while at least one of the technicians spent most of their time up the front talking. :evil:
* Lanes that were completely different every single time they were oiled, even though they were "supposed" to be the same :evil:
* A poorly stocked and under staffed snack bar/canteen where if they actually had what you were after you were forced to wait a considerable amount of time (Don't get me started about the toasted sandwiches!!!) :evil:
* Players areas that had unknown sticky substances in them at the start of the day, and were forced to be mopped numerous times. :evil:
Last and by no means least I would like to thank the NQAC/Cairns Bowl (Let's wait for some monumental buck passing here) for keeping all competing bowlers 100% in the dark as to where they were coming, with no progressive score sheets being prepared to allow people to see where they stood in comparison to their fellow competitors. :x :x :x
Seriously, some of these people couldn't organise a good time in a brothel with a fist ful of $50's and we are dumb enough to pay for the privelage.
Come on people, wake up and smell the coffee!!!!
