What a great weekend of bowling in this event. Thank you Mary and "the team" for a wonderful weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed bowling in this event with the top female bowlers in Australia. The "head to head" final 15 bowlers was one of the best bowling performances by female bowlers that I have seen. It came down to the last game with young Kara (can't spell her last name .... sorry!) and Ann-Maree Putney with a great display by both bowlers. It was also good to see that age doesn't "hamper" the cut - with Jeanette Baker making the cut to the final 15.
Also congratulations to Krystal King on her 1st 300 game - great bowling.
Thank you again Mary.........great to see that this event will continue to grow even after 10 years.....congratulations on the 10 year anniversary.

the Raffle Scotch was won by Carly De Lange, and the silver sponsors' scotch was won by Narelle "Nanna" Qualifschefski.....:D

Hey Mum, Congratulations on yet another successfull running of the Queensland Ladies Classic. Sounds like the girls had a great weekend. Here's to another 10 years !!!!

I would like to apologize for the previous post under my name !!! It was actually posted by my daughter in beautiful Townsville who is proud of her Mum ! Please see Main Forum for Queensland Ladies Classic post.

Her name is Maureen Soter (Moo) and she is a mature age swimmer of some note and will be competing in the Magnetic Island to Townsville Open Water swim on 12th July in aid of Breast Cancer research .... I wish her luck and I will be as pleased as punch when she completes this feat. I may also add that she sponsors both Twin Tour and Ladies Classic. I will be waiting at the Strand with XXXX in hand, probably a few valium as well for the nerves and it does have to be tougher than bowling a few odd games in a tournament.

Flower (the real one) Sorry Kellie !!

Moo,

you have every reason to be proud of your mama.......we are;)

Swim well, leave the cage alone this time (it bites!), many many cudos to you for supporting such a worthy cause. :D

Thanks everyone for the support and sorry Mum !! I think I've logged in correctly now - we Townsvillians can be a little slow on the uptake.
Cheers and good bowling.
