Funding is available in Qld for persons wishing to:
a.. Create a Qld event that did not exist before - a tournament
b.. Obtain training for 6 - 7 persons who wish to become accredited coaches Level 1 or Level 2?
c.. Train the volunteers in your association in club management and recruiting etc.
d.. Other opportunities are available also.
TBAQ will assist those persons who would like to apply - Funding to be spent from July 1 2006 to June 20th 2007
$4000 is available to most associations or bowling centres - ($5000 to regional centres) but they need someone to coordinate the event and apply for the funding. Association persons are flat out and some associations just need more persons on board so they can apply for these things. TBAQ will email you a guide with how to set out the application and assist you with your application - some conditions apply so give us a call. We can email you all the information you require.
If you feel that person who could get the ball rolling (no pun intended!) is you - give Gail or Kelly a call at TBAQ on 07 38765400 during office hours.
Deadline for the application is March 2006.
