QLD State Titles in Rockhampton

Local Rockhampton bowlers scooped the pool in the QLD State Titles. Dale Warren was unbeaten in the Mens Open Double Elimination AVG 211 (About 30 better than the next best avg)and won the final against Graham Allen.. Sue Walton(?) won the women's event from Katie (Last name escapes me) after Katie had got through to the final unbeaten. Local Rocky bowlers also won both the restricted finals.
Only 17 entries in Mens Open and 6 in Womens Open. Most bowlers away with 'doctors certificates' :wink: . It gets a bit dry in Rocky ... there is more oil in the spring rolls than on the lanes.

More oil in the spring rolls huh? Well I'm sure management will have to cut back on that little mistake. 17 in the mens and 6 in the womens.....HUGE SUCCESS by the sounds of it. :wink:
