Just a personal CONGRATULATIONS to Ann-Maree Putney for a superb effort at the Women’s World Bowling Championships in Monterrey Mexico. Her results were
SILVER MEDAL
1. SINGLES games of 221, 198, 209, 258, 257 and 193 for a 222.67 average.
BRONZE MEDAL
2. ALL EVENTS a 219 average across the four events.
3. DOUBLES event were 226, 181, 247, 214, 258 and 222 for a 224.6 average.
4. TRIO’S scores of 207, 186, 214, 181, 216 and 238 for a 207 average.
5. TEAMS scores 223, 257, 225, 200, 223 and 202 and a 221.6 average.
Lane conditions across TWO patterns and TWO lengths in a different country is the ultimate test.
Australia’s Team of Jayde Flanagan, Kate Wilton, Natalie Shelley, Rebecca Simpson, Sue Casell, Louise Eady as Coach and Lorraine McLoughlin as Manager proved that at World level, Australia can be among the best. Congratulations to everyone and well done Team Australia.
