The BBC is due to meet with Football Association officials on Monday to discuss handing over evidence from the Panorama investigation into corruption.
An undercover documentary by Panorama last week featured allegations of bungs being paid to managers and illegal approaches by clubs to players.

The FA wants to see the BBC's files, and has said it is "disappointed" not to have had "full co-operation yet".

But now there will be talks to resolve what evidence will be passed on.

Report: FA probes BBC 'bung' allegations
Interview: Sports minister Richard Caborn
Interview: League Managers Association's Frank Clark

"We've been talking to the Football Association and have already arranged to meet with them on Monday," said a BBC spokesperson.

The FA wants to see the evidence as part of its joint investigation with the Premier League.

On Friday it said: "We have put in another formal request (to the BBC) to supply all the information gathered.

"We are disappointed that we have not had that full co-operation yet."

On Wednesday, the day after the documentary was shown, the FA had asked the BBC to provide evidence "as a matter of urgency".

WHAT IS A BUNG?
A secret and unauthorised payment seen as a financial incentive to help a transfer go through
HOW DOES IT WORK?
An agent pays a club official a slice of his cut for the help of the club official helping the transfer go through
AGENTS' RULES:
An agent may... never so approach a player who is under contract with a club with the aim of persuading him to terminate his contract prematurely or to flout the rights and duties stipulated in the contract

That same day, BBC Panorama had said in a statement that it would cooperate with requests "from the relevant investigating authorities, in line with our normal processes and procedures in cases of this kind".

Under investigation by the FA and Premier League jointly are Chelsea official Frank Arnesen, Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp, and Liverpool and Newcastle as clubs.

The FA alone plan to look into allegations made about Bolton manager Sam Allardyce, his son Craig Allardyce, Redknapp's assistant at Pompey at the time of the filming Kevin Bond, and the agents Charles Collymore and Peter Harrison.

Another agent, Teni Yerima, is licensed in France so the FA will pass any information about him to Fifa or the French FA.

Bolton manager Allardyce was at the centre of the programme, with Yerima and Harrison claiming they paid him bungs.

Allardyce denies ever having taken or asked for a bung and says he has told his lawyers to "take the appropriate action". Bolton say they will carry out a "thorough and robust investigation" into the claims.

In the programme Harrison also describes offering to pay money to Allardyce's son Craig, who Panorama claims received secret payments from agents during three transfer deals.

Craig Allardyce has since said he was exaggerating his own importance to the undercover reporter in order to attract opportunities. He denied any wrongdoing in his Bolton deals or in his relationship with the club.

Harrison, filmed making claims about paying managers, now says that was just pub gossip and banter and added that he will sue the BBC.

Redknapp was filmed talking about Blackburn defender Andy Todd, but denies his conversation amounted to 'tapping up'.

And Bond was secretly recorded admitting he would consider discussing receiving payments from a proposed new agency involving Harrison.

Redknapp told the BBC that he has never taken a bung and had given Bond no reason to think otherwise, while Bond says he is not interested in receiving bungs and has also announced plans to sue the BBC.

The documentary also showed Chelsea's director of youth football, Frank Arnesen, and officials from Liverpool, discussing their interest in signing Middlesbrough's youth star Nathan Porritt. Newcastle were also implicated in the programme.

Chelsea and Liverpool both deny breaking Football Association rules. Liverpool say they have taken legal advice.

The FA also wants to contact Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston, after he claimed to have been offered bribes, and leading agent Jon Holmes who said managers had asked him for bungs.

What do you think? Is it rife in Football?

Bungs and bad transfers have been going on for years. There is probably not one club that has not done a dodgy transfer. It is maybe about time a manager and an agent got caught. It needs to be cleaned up.
Anyway, how good is it to see the mighty Everton up near the top of the ladder, and more importantly above Liverpool. Good to see Tim Cahill banging in lots of goals again to.

Gary.....................................................:(

Everton have this wrapped up....;)

I wish!!!!! I think Chelsea already have it in the bag. If they are not doing well they will just buy someone. Simple as that. Is good to see Everton near the top in their rightful place though.

I don't really think anyone cares about transfer bungs, and player, manager, agent et al will all take their cut. They all say they're in it for the love of the game but that doesn't pay the bills whereas cash does.

If it were match fixing then it'd be a different story. A backhander for changing clubs is a mere sideshow that is being blown out of all proportion.

Can't believe that we lost Cech and Cudicini in the same match.

I don't even know who our 3rd keeper is, he better fire on Wednesday (Thursday Morning) against Barcelona...

Title looks like it will be between three again. Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea. I'd expect Bolton to slide around the Christmas matches - thats when their lists depth will be queried. (I'd love to see Bolton stay up near the top taking points off Man U and Arsenal though!)

WOW
Southend 1-0 Man Utd

Freddy Eastwood celebrates his match-winning goal
Southend pulled off a massive shock by dumping holders Manchester United out of the Carling Cup at Roots Hall.
The Championship strugglers progressed to the quarter-finals thanks to a stunning first-half 30-yard free-kick from top scorer Freddy Eastwood.

United responded but winger Cristiano Ronaldo was denied by two magnificent saves from Darryl Flahavan.

David Jones' drive crashed against the post and John O'Shea saw Flahavan expertly tip over his cross-shot.

Interview: Southend manager Steve Tilson

After Monday's celebrations for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's 20 years in charge at Old Trafford, the Scot was brought crashing back down to earth.

Ferguson picked a strong side in an attempt to prevent the Premiership leaders from slipping up, with 11,532 cramming into Roots Hall to see a potential upset.

606 DEBATE: Give your thoughts on the match

Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney were included and the England striker went close twice from the edge of the area as he started in lively fashion.

Both chances forced saves from Flahavan, the second after a magical piece of skill bemused two defenders and created a yard of space.

But Southend were not being over-run and just before the half-hour mark they took the lead in sensational circumstances.

Eastwood scored a magical goal to dump out the holders

Jones fouled Jamal Campbell-Ryce 30 yards out and Eastwood stepped up to curl a wonderful free-kick around the wall and into the top corner past Tomasz Kuszczak.

The screamer sparked wild scenes of jubilation, but United nearly levelled immediately as Jones' fierce left-foot drive slammed against the inside of the post.

United poured forward and Ronaldo hit a cracker from 30 yards that Flahavan somehow tipped one-handed over the crossbar, a magnificent save from the 27-year-old.

He needed to be alert straight after the break as well as Ronaldo tried his luck from 25 yards, this time Flahavan parrying away a shot straight down his throat.

It was becoming something of a duel and Ronaldo was denied again on the hour mark, a 25-yard free-kick forcing another remarkable save as the ball screamed towards the top corner.

Soon after it was O'Shea's turn, his cross-shot from the right hurriedly turned over by Flahavan as it looped goalwards.

Gabriel Heinze then got in on the act, the Argentine's sweet left-foot drive flying inches wide of Flahavan's left-hand post with the keeper - for once - beaten.

Eastwood remained a menace as Southend threatened on the break, but his wonder goal proved enough to send Southend into the last eight and end United's hold on the trophy.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson
"If you're going to lose it might as well be to something special like that.
"It is a great reminder to everyone at the club that football can smack you in the face and a few players will be bit embarrassed because it's disappointing.

"I am sure we will get slaughtered but there's no harm in defeat providing it improves you and you learn from it."

Premiership race down to two already. Manchester United and Chelsea...

Liverpool and Arsenal are disgraceful, I don't care how far the advance in the Champions League, they do not deserve to advance as far (or further) then Man U or Chelsea.
The supporters of both clubs should be frustrated by the inability to gather points in the EPL.

Interesting match this weekend for Man U - away to Boro. Boro are a team renowned for causing the upset (They beat Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea at home last season and have already beaten Chelsea this season.). This match is the perfect opportunity for Boro to slip under the Red Devils guard as Man U look towards a critical clash against Benfica midweek.

GO CHELSEA

Time to bring this, the greatest topic on earth, back... Just in time to celebrate Manchester Uniteds upcoming treble. Craig, just send the EPL trophy to Old Trafford, the Post office will know where it is. Because we are getting our trophy back!!!!! ;)

Later Da Cowman!

i have to agree here, the greatest football team at club level is about to give The Pretenders chelsea a football lesson, the Premiership is in the bag (and i must say i so enjoyed watching the chelsea v bolton game on fox, the looks on the fans faces was priceless), the FA Cup is going to be fantastic to watch and the champions league well our toughest match will come from Milan, if we can get the draw in Milan i so hope we draw the easiest team on the other side Chelsea because Liverpool would be tougher opposition at this form of the game being cup football.

Go the Red Devils, bring home the gold.

Get on that bandwagon... Remind me, how many supporters actually come from Manchester?

FWIW, Man Utd currently have the weakest defence of the four Champions League teams remaining. They may have quality, but I am a firm believer that they do not have the fighting spirit of the other three teams. Chelsea have been woeful all season, yet still find themselves with the real possibility of winning 3 titles (all due to the power of refusing to lose).
If Man Utd win the Champions League kudos to them, but I can't see them getting past Milan

Well i have not just got on the bandwagon i have followed Man U since i was 7 years old which i am sorry to say is 31 years now. Also had the pleasure of actually watching them play a League Cup match back in 2002 at Old Trafford against liecester City which we won 2 nil.

But as i said our toughest game will be our next game which will be against Milan at the San Siro (if that is spelt right) i will be supremely confident of 3 trophies if we get past this one.

Oh how good is it to see Leeds drop to league 1. Chelsea should be looking at them because as soon as Abramovich has had enough of Chelsea they will end up there to where they belong.
